Introduction to Cornsong

Our first item begins with an introduction to Cornsong, newsletter read by Johnson County Supervisor Rod Sullivan, followed by a musical selection from Stones in the Field.

I have added comments since the original version of Cornsong. I welcome your comments on any of the posts. I want to keep this feature as open as possible, but if problems arise I reserve the right to edit (even delete) inappropriate content or posts.
It is somewhat unorthodox style for the person running the site to add a first comment in this way, but as a folk musician it seems as natural putting some change in the open guitar case if you are busking.
In terms of content of this post, it was my first one and I just wanted to get something “out there”. It combines commentary, a Rod Sullivan Salvo and a recording of a band I play with “The Stones in the Field”.
After I did this I realized that it would be far better if I had separated these segements. I do this in subsequent posts.
